For this cover design I scanned and masked out various elements to create a collage from the artist's original illustrations. This is a children's book about learning to explore the forest and Cindy wanted a cover that would be an invitation for children to enter the book.
Cindy's artistic style utilizes ink and watercolor illustration along with photographs to create a handmade layered collage scene for each and every page. For the cover, her illustrations were masked with excess paper borders and shadows to showcase her particular style.
